Lifetouch and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) are committed to protecting your family’s privacy. We’ve implemented key privacy safeguards to ensure the integrity of the SmileSafe Kids program, including:

Your child’s portrait is not shared with NCMEC or any other party without your express request and written authorization. Your verification of portrait accuracy is also required prior to NCMEC’s public distribution. |

The ID number on the safety card is used only by Lifetouch to accurately locate your child’s portrait within our secure production environment and does not contain any personal information about your child. |

|
Every request for a child’s portrait is verified by NCMEC with law enforcement to ensure the request is authentic. |
